Flavio Orlando (1991) was born in Rome where is currently living and working. Bachelor Degree and Master Degree in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome.

Orlando's work is focused on the ways in which everyday experiences, remembrances, sensations, flow into a painted universe where reality is transormed through his gaze. Hyperbolic bodies and faces, paradoxical situaions, autobiographical narrations suspended in time, random life moments, this is the grammar used for his paintings.
The people living in his images are half way between being real and being fictional typed characters whith whom Orlando creates a role-playing game putting them in the painting like a director would do with his actors in a movie or a theatre show.
